Anth was born and raised on the sandy beaches of Florida's Gulf Coast, and has been writing stories practically his entire life – from the very first day he was old enough to hold a pencil without constantly dropping it (although he still has those days from time to time). While attending university for digital film and video production, he developed an affinity for screenwriting, and began pouring himself into diligently honing his craft. After several years writing, directing, and otherwise working in the independent film industry of the Tampa Bay Area, he began wondering what kind of stories he might be capable of telling purely by his own skills and merits alone. Drifting away from the big collaborative projects and creative teams with which he was so familiar, Anth ventured out of his comfort zone and sequestered himself in pursuit of the answers to his artistic questions. There, he once again devoted himself to his studies, teaching himself to write prose after what felt like a lifetime of scripts and exploring his rebirth as a novelist. His work is greatly inspired by his love for Japanese manga, video games, and visual novels. When describing his writing process, he calls it very instinctual – allowing his passion and internal storytelling compass to take the lead in crafting a strong narrative core, before building upon that foundation with the formal and technical knowledge he acquired from his years of formal training and experience in the art.Above all, it is his goal to excite and enthrall audiences with thrilling stories, and it is his hope that someone out there may find themselves inspired to pursue telling their own stories, just as his favorite creators have done for him.
